Centre culturel Alban Minville
“Absolute!” is a project initiated at the start of 2021 by Pierre Bénard, perfumer-creator and Rodolphe Collange, musician-composer.
Starting from the observation that the smell is considered as a special effect in the art of the spectacle, as the music often appears following images in the art of the cinema for example, these two artists wished to place the perfume as center of creation and source of inspiration.
According to a methodological follow-up by the perfumer in creative stages, Rodolphe Collange designs a sound and musical interpretation of three fragrances.
This same creative process will be offered to a director during this residency at the Alban Minville cultural center where he will be confronted with olfactory creations and musical compositions in another time.
