OLFACTORY WALK IN THE WOODS

Thanks to the University of Montpellier, we invite PRO PAC undergraduate students, on the Montpellier campus, to a one-day interactive olfactory training on woody scents, “Parfums d’arbre & essences de bois”.

This training is an initiation, it is a fascinating exploration of the woody materials of the perfumer coming from trees and plants but also synthesized.

It links disciplines such as botany, the chemistry of odors and extraction processes, traditional uses in perfumery and in the design of olfactory spaces.

NOSEDIVE IN THE SANDALWOOD

The second half-day will be devoted to sandalwood using a mix of multimedia and olfactory materials provided by Quintis.

We will explore the history, botanical characteristics, production and chemistry of wood scents, creating a sensory and immersive experience for students.
