UFO : Unidentified Fragrant Object
published on 2026-05-08STATEMENT OF INTENT
Based on the idea and model of the Apocalypse bottle imagined and implemented by Pierre Bénard Ségu, The UFO [Unidentified Fragrant Object] diffuses fragrance into the space where you take the time to listen to your vinyl record.
Made of Limoges porcelain by Atelier Arquié, this half-dome sits atop a record player.
The porosity of the porcelain allows it to absorb the fragrance and diffuse it into the surrounding space as it rotates.
Designed and created for OZPARFUM fragrances, this Unidentified Fragrant Object is perfectly suited to accommodate other perfumes as well.
ONE-OF-A-KIND MODEL
This model is made of Limoges porcelain bisque, manufactured by the Ateliers Arquié.
The texture and porosity of the biscuit allow it to absorb the fragrance.
The object is inserted into the spindle of the turntable.
The underside of this model has a 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) diameter opening designed to allow the object to be placed on the spindle of the record player.
Thus, the UFO [Unidentified Flying Object] will rotate at 45 RPM or 33 RPM.
A diffusion of the fragrance, more or less rapid, in the space where the turntable is located.
The model was filed under reference DSO2026016177 on 03/05/2026 at the INPI.
Note: The Extended Player SKY’S THE LIMIT is a 33 RPM record recorded at 45 RPM.
NAMES OF FLYING DISCS
Following this design, two names were registered with the INPI [French National Institute of Industrial Property].
