PERFUME, A DISTANCE LINK

VIRTUAL OLFACTORY WORKSHOP

Following the health events, thanks to Mrs. Lydie GENIN, Program Manager, the IPAG Business School of Nice hired us to carry out a virtual olfactory workshop with Bachelor 3rd year Luxury Management and Entrepreneurship.

Through a collaborative platform, we illustrated our program « FROM OLFACTION TO CREATION » ©.

A well-established speech on an introduction to olfaction to head towards the mysterious universe of the perfume industry, this in 4 acts, in 4 days, for 2 hours.

These 23 students should have completed a semester of study in China on the IPAG campus in Kunming allowing cultural and linguistic openness.

Outside of school, they would have had the opportunity to visit the country and live alongside the population, accommodated in a popular city.

This is why, we created in this workshop, an interactive exercise allowing the students to know how to speak and present a smell, a perfume.

We asked them to give a short presentation in order to create an olfactory cultural exchange:

  • Concerning a smell, a scent specific to their education, their culture, a memory, of France or their region, that they would have liked to present to Chinese people.
  •  And, to present a smell, a perfume which they would have liked to discover in China, a scent, a perfume forming part of the Chinese olfactory culture;

In this time of confinement, the smells and scents of the first exercise were marked with freedom with the sea or ocean air, the scent of Tunisian jasmine and its revolution; of cultural identities with the smell of toasted sesame or ylang-ylang, of protection with the scents of mothers, of attachment to childhood.

For Chinese fragrances, scents of flowers, those of osmanthus and magnolia, intrigued some students.

For others, it was incense that perfumed the temples.

The scents of gardens in Beijing’s “scented hills” ou  or the scent of street markets.

嗅觉虚拟研讨会

在健康活动之后,感谢Lydie GENIN女士,位于尼斯的IPAG项目经理聘请我们与奢侈品管理与创业大学三年级学生共同举办虚拟嗅觉研讨会。

通过一种协作平台,我们展示了我们的项目–“从嗅觉到创造”

一次关于嗅觉的引人入胜的演讲,将我们带入了香水的神秘世界中,我们在4天内共进行4次演讲,每次2小时。

这23名学生在中国昆明的IPAG校园完成了一个学期的学习,实现了语言和文化的交流。

而在课外,他们仍有机会与住在这座受欢迎的城市中的居民并肩生活

我们在此研讨会中创建一个互动练习,引导学生如何描述与呈现一种香气,一款香水。

我们邀请学生们做简短的演讲,以此建立嗅觉和文化的互动交流:

-闻到一种他们想向中国人民展示的,针对他们的教育,他们的文化,对法国或其地区的记忆的香水。

与此同时,为了呈现气味,他们希望在中国发现一种香水,一种气味,从而形成中国嗅觉文化的一部分。

由于疫情封闭的特殊时间期间,第一次运用的香气和味道在大海中或海洋空气,突尼斯的茉莉花气息及变化中表现出自由。 具有烘烤芝麻或依兰香气的文化特征,具有母亲的气味的保护,对童年的依恋。

对于中国香水,桂花和木兰的花香气吸引着学生。

另外,寺庙中香薰、焚香的香气,北京香山公园的香气或北京街头市集的香气同样吸引着他们。
